Any solar energy system must include Solar SPD, also referred to as Surge Protection Devices. Solar SPD are crucial in preventing damage from voltage surges or lightning strikes to the system’s electrical components, including the inverter, panels, and battery. The demand for SPDs has significantly increased as a result of the expansion of renewable energy sources and the rising popularity of solar panels. Electrical devices known as Solar SPD are essentially created to limit the voltage supplied to the system to a safe level. They serve as a protective barrier, absorbing any excess voltage that might be caused by surges or lightning strikes and directing it to the ground.
